| The eight of us drove all night long in a borrowed 1994 Chevy Suburban. We planned the trip to leave Cuitzeo about 8 or 9 PM in order to go thru Mexico City in the middle of the night to have less traffic there. This worked out well. The whole trip from Cuitzeo, Michoacan to Oaxaca, Oaxaca, took 10 hours, mostly on toll roads, and was about 500 miles. |
