| We try to go to the hot springs, or Agua Caliente, or Balnearos, in Huandacareo at least once a year. Hot water is piped in from underground geothermal wells, into beautiful swimming pools with slides and fountains. There are picnic tables and barbeque grills all around. You pay 40 on 50 pesos to get in for the day, and most people bring tons of food, soda, beer, etc. and make it a day long event. We brought beef and chorizo sausage to grill. |
